Norman R. Moore

	Norman R. (Redd) Moore, age 69, of Pinckneyville, passed away Wednesday evening, February 18, 2004 in the emergency room of Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	Mr. Moore was born in Payne County, Oklahoma on May 12, 1934, a son of John and Jennie (Long) Moore.  He married Constance J. (Connie) Morgenthaler on December 22, 2001 in Pinckneyville and she survives.
	During his lifetime he served with the U.S. Marines in the Korean Conflict, was a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion, V.F.W., National Rifle Association, a member of the United Steel Worker's Union and retired in 1996 from Alcoa Aluminum after 35 years.  He then returned to Pincknevyille.  He was a former member of the Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville.
	Survivors include his wife, Connie of Pinckneyville; step-daughter, Laura J. Sronce of Toronto, Ohio; step-son, James C. Young Jr. of Elgin; step-daughter, Billie Collins; a sister, Dorothy Lawyer and husband Gerald of Elgin; three nephews, two nieces and six step-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Nelson R. Moore and a sister, Mary Lou Moore.
	Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 21 at 10:30 a.m. in the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville.  Interment was in the IOOF Cemetery, Pinckneyville.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of services.
